Mrs. Mary McKinley

Mrs. Mary McKinley

Pre-K4

I live with my husband, Tim, in Dodgeville.  I started my career 21 years ago when the principal at St. Joseph was looking for a teacher for the preschool program.  Kindergarten was expanding to full days and the kindergarten teacher was also the 4 year old preschool teacher.  When I said “Yes” I never dreamed I would still be teaching.  I have four daughters, and at that time my youngest had just started first grade.

I enjoy cooking, science and math.  My favorite activities in class are exploration and play based. Art time can include paint, paper, crayons, glue or a combination to express our theme.  Learning is fun, teaching is a blessing.

Meet Mrs. Megan McWilliams, Kindergarten

I grew up in Prairie du Chien and attended Winona State University in Minnesota. I started teaching elementary special education in Platteville, and then took some time off to be with my 2 children until they reached school age. I began as a volunteer at St. Joe’s and now am teaching kindergarten. In addition to teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, photography, cooking, and baking. I am also an avid Green Bay Packer and Wisconsin Badger fan!
